When to smile and when to sigh
Knowing how to love, despite the hate,
Being safe in love, or burned by hate
Hearing more than is meant.
Or being def to the deepest pools of meaning
Hiding a secret
Or to reveal,
And Knowing -
When not to cheapen the beauty of a deep moment,
With a lightness that cheapens the price of a soul.
